We had a good game, but coach didn't realize that pitchers couldn't go in consecutive games if pitched over 20 the game before.  I got an email from the other NLL Major coaches at 5:45 tonight about it, my mistake, I wasn't the only one though.

We started off nice with everyone hitting.  Beau started us off pitching in the 1st & 2nd, Adam in the 3rd & 4th, Ryan, Ben and Quinn in the 5th.  Beau started us off batting with a single in the 1st and a single in the 2nd scoring with 2 RBI's, Ryan had a single, a Fly-Out and a ground out, Ben had a walk, and a double, Kilian had a single in the 1st, Dale got an infield fly and a double, Manny got 2 singles, Nick got a single, Donny got a single and Adam got 2 walks.  They all played well tonight, Adam also pitched for the 1st time in over a month and pitched great!

WOW!  Scoreless for 5 innings with Dale pitching 1st & 2nd, Kilian 3rd & 4th and Manny 5th, 6th & 7th.  I'd find out later that keeping 1 best pitcher in for the majority of the game is the way it's done.  In the 6th, we rallied with Beau scoring after a base hit, Ryan with a double and Ben with a double and an RBI.  After telling the ump and coach that I was pulling Adam out the Northview coach claimed that I never told him and called Adam an automatic out.  The boys dug their heals in and took it back in the 7th!  Quinn got walked and scored, Manny got a double and scored and Donny got walked and scored, Beau walked and got to 3rd and RYAN hit a double to bring Donny in and end the game!

It was a super close game.  Drew Dygert from the Cheese Kurls got a 2 run homer in the 4th.  Ryan got a single and a run in the 1st inning, Beau almost got a home run in the 1st w/ 2 doubles and scoring in the 1st and he was stealing like crazy in the 1st and 5th, Manny got a single and 2 walks, Kilian was again going for the home run and got a single and a walk, Ben hit 1 pop up and one grounder, Nick hit a single, Quinn got a single a fly out and a ground out and Dale got a walk that brought him in to score in the 5th.

Kilian held them to 0 in the 1st 2 innings while Manny, Ben, Nick and Quinn got walked and scored in the 1st inning.  Manny got a double in the 3rd, Ryan got a single and a double, Kilian got another HOME RUN in the 3rd w/ 2 RBI's bringing in Manny and Ryan, Beau got a single in the 2nd and a walk in the 4th and Dale got a single in the 2nd.

Hadyn pitched his 1st game tonight.  Beau got 2 singles and a triple, Kilian got a single, Ryan got 3 singles out of 3, Dale got a walk in the 4th and grounded out in the 5th, Manny got 2 singles and a walk, Nick got a double driving in 2 runs in the 4th and Quinn got a single in the 6th.

Quinn pitched his 1st game tonight and held them to 6-4 in the 1st & 2nd innings.  Beau got a triple in the 3rd, Ryan got a single in the 6th, Dale got a double in the 2nd, Kilian got 2 doubles and a single, Donny got a single in the 6th, Trent got walked in the 4th, Manny got a single, Nick got a single and scored in the 2nd and Quinn got a single in the 2nd.

These guys are really keeping there head in the game.  Kilian scored the 1st and the 2nd runs, he was just a few feet short of hitting his 3rd home run and Manny hit the last 2 runs in.  Ben got a single in the 1st, Dale got a single in the 6th, Kilian got a double and 2 singles, Donny got a single and hit by a pitch in the 6th, Trent got 3 walks, Manny got a single and a single to end the game, Nick got a single, Ryan got 2 singles and Haydn got a single.  Way to go guys.

The guys pulled it together while I was driving to Georgia.  I'm sorry I missed that one as it sounded like the bats were really swinging.  If You have any additional comments, please send them to me and I'll add them.  Beau got a single in the 1st and a couple more hits in the 2nd and 3rd, Ben got a walk and a double, Dale got a triple in the 5th, Kilian got 2 in the park home runs on errors and a walk,  Donny got a walk, a single and grounded out in the 5th, Trent got 3 walks and a single, Manny got a walk, a single and a fly out in the 6th, Nick grounded out in the 2ne and got a double in the 6th, Quinn got 2 walks, a single and grounded out in the 6th, Ryan got a walk, a single and a fly out, and Haydn got a single in the 1st and the 5th.

Beau got a double and scored in the 1st, Ben got a single and scored in the 1st and flied out in the 4th, Kilian got a single and scored in the 1st and flied out and grounded out in the 3rd and 5th, Donny got 2 singles and a walk scoring twice, Trent got 2 walks and scored in the 1st, Manny flied out twice and grounded out once, but hustled all the way, Nick got a single and a walk, Quinn got a single and flied out in the 3rd, Ryan grounded out in the 1st but came back with a single in the 4th, Haydn flied out in the 1st, single in the 4th and grounded out in the 6th.  If they keep their heads in the game, we'll finish the season out well.  They're all doing a GREAT job!!

Beau got a single in the 3rd, Ryan got walked in the 6th, Manny flied out in the 1st and grounded out in the 3rd, Ben, Kilian and Donny all got a single and scored in the 2nd, Kilian also got a walk in the 6th but wasn't able to score, Quinn got a single in the 2nd, Dale got 2 singles and scored in the 5th, Trent got a walk, Haydn got 2 singles and Nick got 2 pop ups that unfortunately weren't dropped.

What a come back from a 3-0 first inning!  Second inning was 1-0 Berger, third both teams scored 2, fourth 0-0, we tied it up in the fifth and sixth with 1 run each and them played out the seventh and eighth with no runs for each team.  Major highlights were: 2nd inning, Ben getting a double and scoring on a wild pitch to Quinn, in the 3rd Haydn taking a walk and scoring and Donny getting hit by a pitch and scoring.  In the 5th, Dale got a single eventually scoring while Trent and Nick got walks.  In the 6th we tied it up with a double by Beau, a single by Manny and a double by Ben.  The last 2 innings were real nail biters while both of our teams held each other back.

WOW, what an awesome game!  It was neck and neck for 4 innings (Berger 1- Cheese Kurls1 in the 1st, Berger 2-CK 4 in the 2nd, B3-CK0 in the 3rd and B 0-CK 2 with Berger down 6-7 after the 4th.  The boys really dug their heals in and got 6 runs to 0 in the 5th and 4 runs to 0 in the 6th to take their 1st win.

The boys are getting much better!  They are stopping grounders and fly balls and keeping them held back the best they can.  We started strong with many hits including another 2 run home in the 2nd by Kilian!  We're continuing to aggressively steal bases and we had an out to Ryan by millimeters on 3rd base in the 5th.  They held us in the 1st inning but the boys weren't going to give up.  They started blasting the ball starting in the 2nd and got a great rally going.  Beau got the game ball today as he got 2 hits, many steals with his aggressive lead offs and had to once again be last at bat and grounded out never complaining.
